Last week was married at the Quakers meeting house at Kendal, in Westmoreland, Mr. Thomas Sutton, an eminent Tanner in Scotby, near Carlisle, to the amiable Miss Sally Wilson of Kendal, only daughter of Mr James Wilson, of the same place, Tanner.

At Scotby, on the 12th inst., Joseph Sutton, a member of the Society of Friends, after a short illness, at the advanced age of 93 years. His faculties continued bright and clear up to the last moments of his life. His example whilst living has been one of christian humility and integrity; and his death will be felt as a loss by a numerous circle of friends and relations.
