1922 Q1 | possibly d. Bromley RD | GRO index; NB this may relate to a different William Charles Harding. See also the note at the end of the entry on Alfred Bennett Harding, below. If this GRO entry is a misidentification, possibly the Wm Chas Harding who m. in Victoria in 1877 and d. there in 1888 is correct (Victoria index to probate registers, Australia marriage index), and may well correspond to the W.C. Harding who was administrator of the estate of Alfred Bennett Harding |

NB I am now doubtful about all entries after 1871, in view of a cemetery record from Boroondara, Victoria, referring to the death of a 52-year-old Harriett Harding on 1875-04-17, and of "Alfred Bennett Harding, her youngest son", who d. 1883-01-21, aged 24. Additionally, the index to Victoria probate records shows that the administration of this Alfred Bennett Harding was assigned to a W.C. Harding, who could be his eldest brother William Charles. | Boroondara cemetery records and headstone transcriptions; Victoria index to probate records |
