For Additional Curates Society COLLECTIONS for the Additional Curates Society have been started at Tynemouth Parish Church, and Miss G.E. Spence has undertaken the position of acting as collector in the parish, assisted by Miss M. J. Costigan. The aim of the Society is to make grants of money to enable poor parishes to employ curates when otherwise they would not be able to do so, and naturally extensive funds are needed for this work. Miss Spence and Miss Costigan will be pleased to give information about the work of the Society and they will be still more pleased to receive contributions |
