Joseph Gill & William Brookfield are Desired to make Enquiry of both their clearness from all others hereaway, and write to Carlisle Moly Meeting in Cumberland, for an account of his clearness thereaway and Parents consent, as also to the Moly Meeting of Morley in Cheshire for an account of her clearness thereaway Her Guardians being in this Meeting Declared they are consenting, the said Friends are to Return an account to this meeting how they find it when the young Persons next appear here. |

John Sutton, and Mary Hobson, appeared in this Meeting, a second time, and Declared their Intentions of Marriage each with other Continues, having done the like in the Womens Meeting yesterday, and a Letter by order of the Moly Meeting Held at Macclesfield in Cheshire, being read here, Giving an Account of her Clearness thereaway in relation to Marriage, also upon Enquiry, nothing appearing, but they are both clear in that respect, from all others here, But the account from Carlisle Moly Meeting of his clearness there, and Parents Consent, to their said Intentions, not being yet come, (only a Private letter from his Father Signifying his Consent) Friends accept their Presentation, and leaves to the Said John to Publish or cause to be Published, in two Public meetings (in this City) their said Intentions, after the said Account from Carlisle Moly Meeting comes to hand; and advise with this meeting, about the accomplishment thereof, if they proceed. |
