THE FUNERAL OF THE LATE MR. R. ROLFE, of Craven-street, took place on Friday at the cemetery. The mourners included Mr. John Rolfe, Mr. Wm. Rolfe (of Hemel Hempstead, Mrs. Dibbins, Mrs. Brind (daughters), Mr. Dibbins, and Mr. Ransley (sons-in-law of the deceased). The service was impressively read by the Rev. W. Pheasant. The coffin, which was of elm, and covered with beautiful white flowers, bore the inscription: ["]Robert Rolfe, died August 10th, aged 70 years." The bearers were Messrs. Finch, W. Holdings, Wiggens, and Cripps. |
