Ann (Connell) Bennett, of Chatham

C6. ANN BENNETT born CONNELL

Ann Connell was born around 1752. She married [C5] George Bennett on 5 September 1777, at Chatham, Kent. Their children were: [C4] Ann (1778–1850), Rebecca (1780–1861), James (1782–1859), Elizabeth (1785 – ?), Charlotte (1788 – ?), and Eleanor (1795 – ?), all baptised in Chatham.¹

Her body was buried at St Mary's, Chatham, on 27 February 1836.²

This page is little more than a starting point. Further research needs to be undertaken on the Bennett children. And no progress on the earlier Connell line can be made until a record of Ann's birth or baptism is found, or a will linking her to either or both of her parents.
