Elizabeth Penfold was baptised on the 21st February 1756 at Slinfold, Sussex.1
She married [J2] Richard Bourn on the 8th May 1781, at Slinfold parish church, by licence. Their children were: James (1783–1789), Sarah (1785–1861), Ann (1787–1787), Richard (1788–1810), and [J1] Susanna (cal 1791 – 1856). All were probably born at Warnham, and the births of most were registered at Horsham General Baptist church.2
It was probably this Elizabeth Bourn, of Warnham, who died on the 28th May 1811, and was buried at Horsham General Baptist church on the 31st May.3
Elizabeth Penfold was the daughter of [J8] Henry and [J9] Elizabeth Penfold.4

Henry Penfold was born around 1704/1707.1
On the 26th April 1742, a labourer of Slingfold,
Surrey, he was party to a marriage bond and allegation, licensing him to marry
Joan Ireland (1703 – before 1754, b. Slinfold, Sussex, d. of John and Mary
Ireland) at Chiddenfold, Thirsley, or Witley, Surrey. Both of
Slingfold, Sussex, they married at St Mary's, Chiddingfold, on the 28th April
1742.2
Joan, his first wife, died before 1754. On the 26th September 1754, described as a yeoman of Slinfold, he married [J9] Elizabeth Furlonger at Wisborough Green, Sussex, by licence from the Archdeaconry of Chichester. Their only known child was [J7] Elizabeth (1756–1811), baptised at Slinfold.3
The body of Henry Penfold was buried at Slinfold on the 15th May 1782.4

There are two possible baptisms: 4th May 1701 at Rudgwick, son of Thomas Penfold of Ewhurst; or 19th March 1699/1700 at Alford, Surrey, son of Henry and Elizabeth Penfold. Although the former is slightly more likely, the latter can't be ruled out.

Elizabeth Furlonger was born in 1712, and baptised at
Billingshurst, Sussex, on the 9th December that year.1
On the 26th September 1754, a spinster of Wisborough Green, she married [J8] Henry Penfold there, by licence from the Archdeaconry of Chichester. Their only known child was [J7] Elizabeth (1756–1811), baptised at Slinfold.2
It was probably this Elizabeth Penfold, a widow of Slinfold, who died on the 8th January 1798 and was buried on the 12th January at Horsham General Baptist church.3
Elizabeth Furlonger was the daughter of [J10] John and [J11] Elizabeth Furlonger.4

John Furlonger was baptised at Billingshurst, Sussex, on the 27th February 1684/5.1
John Furlonger of Billingshurst, Sussex, married [J14] Elizabeth Butcher, of Rudgwick, Sussex, on the 4th November 1710, in Itchingfield, Sussex.2
His body was buried at Billingshurst on the 7th July 1722.3
John Furlonger was the eldest child of [J11] William Furlonger.4

William Furlonger was born at Wisborough Green, Sussex, on the 29th December 1654.1
It was probably this William Furlonger who married Susana Pinion at Petworth, Sussex, on the 22nd November 1682.2
William Furlonger had five known children, all baptised at Billingshurst: [J10] John (1684/5–1722), Elizabeth (1686 – ?), Mary (1690 – ?), Susanna (1692 – ?), and Sarah (1695 – ?).3
The body of William Furlonger, yeoman, was buried in woollen at Billingshurst on the 27th July 1695.4
William Furlonger was the son of John and Mabell Furlonger.5

John Furlonger married [J13] Mabell ____. Their known children were: Joseph (1649 – ?), Alicea (1649 – ?), John (1651–1654), and [J11] William (1654–1695, the only one whose mother was named), all baptised (or in John's case born) at Wisborough Green, Sussex.1

Elizabeth Butcher, of Rudgwick, Sussex, married [J10] John Furlonger of Billingshurst, Sussex, on the 4th November 1710, in Itchingfield, Sussex.1
The body of Elizabeth Furlonger, widow, was buried at Billingshurst on the 20th May 1743.2

The birth/baptism and parentage of [J8] Henry Penfold need to be clarified before the Penfold line can be taken further. At present we can't be sure which of two possible baptisms is correct. Possibly probate records may determine this.
The line from [J12] John Furlonger may be traceable, but birth/baptism, parentage, and marriage details all remain to be located; a search in the marriage register of Wisborough Green suggests he didn't marry there.
In a few instances on this page I have said 'probably.' I think checking these would be worthwhile, but am reasonably confident that better possibilities are unlikely to be found.
