Edward Hayllar, clerk, Sheffield, was charged with riding a bicycle on the footpath at Warmsworth the Saturday before. When defendant was stopped he gave the policeman 1s. 6d. not to report him. The officer took the 1s. 6d., but still reported the offence. Defendant was fined 5s. and costs.
