C. Reed Cary reported having seen the Hayllar family. They come of a Friendly family his father having been a Friend and having attended Friends' Select School. They have been attending our Meetings for worship for well over a year. Applications for membership on behalf of Benjamin Hayllar Jr., his wife and son Benjamin L. Hayllar were read, having come in since our last Overseers Meeting. Also a letter from the clerk of the Session of the First Presbyterian Church of which they are now members recommending them to our Christian care and fellowship. The applications for membership were ordered to go forward to the Monthly Meeting for its action. |
