William Henry Pollard, 90, of Damascus, died of complications Sunday at 10:45 a.m. in the Central Clinic following a two week illness.

Born in Ontario, Canada, Oct. 10, 1874, the son of George and Mary Cohoe Pollard, he was a member of the Damascus Friends Meeting. His wife, Emma L., died in 1952.

He is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Alice Lewis of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs Martha Merriman of Kensington, Mrs Dorothy Carnahan of Cherry Creek, N.Y., Mrs. Edith Yeager of Albuquerque, N.M., Mrs. Ellen Pipkin of Norton, Kansas and Mrs. Rachel Warrington of RD 1, Salem; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the meeting house, with burial in the Damascus Friends Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Arbaugh Pearce Funeral Home Tuesday night.
