FUNERAL OF MISS BAGGS.On Saturday afternoon the remains of the late Miss Rosa Georgina Baggs (daughter of Mr H.S. Baggs, of Victoria Terrace), who passed away in the Sussex County Hospital on Wednesday, were laid to rest in the Parish Churchyard, in the presence of the sorrowing members of the family and a large number of sympathetic friends. The chief mourners were Mr. H.S. Baggs (father), Mr. C. Baggs (brother), and Mr. Leach. The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. R.A.C. BEVAN, assisted by the Rev. K.C. JACKSON. The flower-covered coffin, which consisted of polished elm, with black fittings, bore the following inscription: ROSA GEORGINA BAGGS, Died April 28th, 1909, In her 25th year. "Thy will be done." |
