GOSTAGE–TAYLOR. SOUTHALL BRIDEGROOM AT A HARLINGTON WEDDING. The wedding of Mr. Arthur Joseph George Gostage. son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gostage, of 19. Tachbrook-road. Southall, and Miss Emily Eliza Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Taylor, of Orchard View. Cherry-lane. Harlington, took place at the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, Harlington, on Sunday afternoon. The Rev. William Railton oficiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, was dressed in white silk covered with georgette and carried a bouquet of white hyacinths and maidenhair fern. She was attended by four bridesmaids, Miss Eliza Lever (aunt), Miss Nellie Curling (cousin), Miss Phyllis Wright (cousin), and Miss Celia Taylor (sister). The two elder bridesmaids wore frocks of powder blue and the two younger ones were attired in pink silk. The bouquets were composed of blue and white hyacinths. The bride's mother wore a royal blue frock, and the bridegroom's mother was dressed in a two-piece check silk frock. Mr. Henry Taylor was the bridegroom's best man and the reception was held at the bride's home. Greyer (aunt and uncle), bedside rug; Miss Eliza Lever (aunt), table cloth; Miss Nellie Curling (cousin), bed linen; Mrs. F. Wright (aunt), cut glass dishes; Mrs. W. Brown, cut glass fruit set; Mrs. T. Tripp. table cloth; Mr. A. Seymor, pair pictures; Mrs. D. Stevens (aunt), bedspread; Bridegroom's mother, marble clock; Mrs. M. Shepherd (cousin), bedroom clock; Mrs. D. Shephard (aunt), bath towels; Mr. Charles Taylor (brother), table cover; Mr. Frank Taylor (brother), household linen; Cousin Clara, table cloth. There was also a gift from numerous friends at Messrs. T. G. Tickler's. Southall, where the bride was employed. |
