MEMORANDUM that John Thistlethwaite a little before his death did declare words to the effect (willing the same to be added as a Codicil to his last Will & Testament) vizt It is my will and mind that so many of my debtors as shall pay in the money (due to me) to my Executor when the same shall become due shall have the last yeare's interest (of their respective sums they are owing me) abated, he desiring Notice to be given (by open proclamation) to his Debtors at Martinmas next after his decease Likewise he did give and bequeath unto George Sidgewick the sum of 5 shillings. He did declare words to this effect in the presence of Myles Thistlethwaite, Richard Thistlethwaite, James Thistlethwaite.
