Mr. Greene was counsel for the prosecution, and Mr. Baker Smith defended the prisoner. The charge was fully proved. The defence was that the prisoner was drunk. Sentenced to two calendar months' hard labour. |

The defendant declared that he had no gun and never had one, but the Bench considered the case proved, and he was fined 50s., one-fourth of the penalty, with a recommendation that it should be further reduced one-half. |
